Josefina is a UX writer and former special advisor on foreign affairs who has been cooking since she was 12. Her love of food began with her father, the cook of the family, who had an early passion for gourmet ingredients and refined flavors. While most children were served simple lunches, Josefina remembers being picked up from school and welcomed home with perfectly prepared dishes like chicken in a bright orange reduction sauce. “He trained my tastes,” she says. During her studies in global affairs abroad, Josefina cooked for an international circle of friends and was also welcomed into kitchens around the world. These experiences inspired her to share that same sense of warmth, curiosity, and cultural connection at her own table. She now hosts with her boyfriend, an advertising professional born and raised in Buenos Aires, who also enjoys welcoming guests. Together, they invite travelers to enjoy a modern and gourmet meal in their inviting Buenos Aires home, where good food and meaningful conversation are shared in equal measure.

Incredible way to experience Buenos Aires by meeting a wonderful couple living here, expect a cozy atmosphere of dining with your friends while eating an incredible dinner all made from local ingredients 12/10!- Artem_S November 30, 2023
When we travel, we love to take a cooking classes, giving us the opportunity to cook (and eat!) local cuisine, as well as make new friends around the world. Josefina and Ignacio were very gracious and accommodating. For example, my wife is vegetarian and I eat meat. Josefina planned the menu to include foods we could both eat and enjoy. We started with an amazing pickled eggplant that we could not get enough of (and made enough to bring 2 jars home with us!). We then moved on to making meat, corn, and vegetable empanadas from scratch. And while the empanadas were cooking, we prepared a caramel flan for dessert. Then we sat down for a great meal, wonderful conversation and wine. It was a magical way to start our visit to Buenos Aires. And, with recipes in hand for all the dishes we made, we can hardly wait to have our own "empanada night" at home!- Murray February 22, 2023
This was a fantastic way to experience Argentinian cuisine. Our host Josephina and her partner were most friendly and outgoing. She walked us through the creation of a multi course Argentinian menu while he ensured we always had full wine and drink glasses. The meal was fantastic and the company and conversation even better. We learned so much about Buenos Aires from a local perspective. We left feeling like we had spent the evening with friends. We would highly recommend this experience, especially with the hosts we had.- Alan L February 12, 2023
