What a wonderful experience! Our family of 5 all agreed this was one of our favorite experiences while in Chennai. Gayathri was so lovely and we enjoyed the time in her home kitchen with she and her husband. She answered all of our questions and showed how to make 4 dishes that we ate! So happy we were able to do this.

We had a wonderful time with Vidhya today. Thanks her for the kind hospitality! We really enjoy her food and her cooking class. She mad sure we understood the receipts, and she demonstrated how simple can Indian food be e prepared. The food was really delicious. We strongly recommend this class.

I told her that I run a restaurant that serves South Indian cuisine and wanted to discuss the menu I would like to learn, and she took into consideration the menu I wanted to learn and organized a lesson that included both Chettinadu and Tamil cuisine. Kamala was thoughtful enough to prepare the recipes, and the lesson was thorough and easy to understand, so I was able to spend a valuable time. The finished dishes were also delicious. I'm really glad I was able to participate.

Tara was a great host. It was really interesting talking with her. We communicated beforehand regarding the recipes and prepped our ingredients to the same point before we went on line. The food was delicious!

An excellent event with nice food. Uma and her friend Mali (spelling?) were excellent hosts and their English was excellent - so we were able to have interesting and detailed discussions on a variety of subjects. The house can be difficult to find, so you or your driver will need a mobile phone to navigate the last 100 metres or so. Absolutely fantastic food. This is the best food that I have tasted in a long time. Sundari I also very good company. She and her husband have a beautiful home as well.

My boyfriend & I had a wonderful time with Meena! Getting to her location was easy, and her home was beyond cozy & hospitable! Getting to experience a part of a day in the life is what this tour was all about, and it did not disappoint! We shared stories, laughs, and then an amazingly tasteful (hard to believe because we’d made part of it) meal together. We were welcomed like friends and left just the same, so if you’re looking for a truly unique experience in Chennai then look no further.

Wow! Amazing hospitality, We learned recipes and got to do hands-on supervised cooking on three dishes. And, we could elect the level of chile we cooked with, from USA our tourist heat tolerance is milder than South India's love of chile. The many other spices layered under the heat are wonderful. On arrival, our host took us on a car tour of a local shrine, the beach front, and a bustling outside vegetable market identifying unfamiliar fruits, vegetables, spices, and lentils. Back home, we were greeted by a friendly yellow lab! We visited, then adjourned to the kitchen, making three dishes. What fun. We learned a lot! Highly recommend this experience.
