I travelled with my sister. We both had such a great time with Nico and Pilar! Nico is full of passion for cooking and loves sharing his story. He told us how he learned to make pasta from his Italian mother when he was just five years old, and you can really feel the love he puts into everything. We learned how to make traditional Argentine pasta from scratch, and the whole experience was very authentic and personal. Nico explained everything clearly and made it fun and easy to follow. Pilar was also lovely and made us feel right at home. It was more than just a cooking class—it felt like spending time with old friends. Highly recommended if you want to enjoy great food and learn about local culture in a warm and friendly setting!

My wife and I really enjoyed our time with Virginia and Lucas! We were able to prepare and cook an authentic Argentinian asado starting with buying the products at the local shops, and then, preparing and cooking in their home. Virginia put a lot of time and thought into the menu, and I had some dietary restrictions which she was able to accommodate. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed learning more about Argentinian food and culture. We would definitely recommend booking with Virginia and Lucas!

The food was delicious and so, the company and the conversations. We even got - well, we asked for a 'doggie bag' :-). I think evenings like these are so special and unique to connect with the local but open minded and global community; nothing you get from restaurant outings, etc.

We had such a wonderful time at the empanada cooking class! Our host was absolutely amazing—warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about teaching. She greeted us right outside her apartment with such enthusiasm that we felt welcome from the very start. Even though we had no prior experience, she made us feel completely at ease and guided us through each step with patience and joy. The experience was hands-on, fun, and incredibly informative. We got to enjoy our empanadas the authentic way on her beautiful balcony, which made it all the more special. We truly hope to stay in touch with her. If you’re considering this class, don’t hesitate—book it!

Great cooking and conversation. There were two couples in our group and we were welcomed warming by Florencia upon arrival in her attractive apartment and wonderful kitchen. We quickly doned aprons and got to work, first making empanada dough and then filling the empanadas. We all appreciated how Flor demonstrated different techniques and then mentored us as we did our pastry work. Flor is an excellent teacher and fun to be with, which made for a great evening. We would all recommend Flor's class as a wonderful introduction to some of Argentina's best foods--empanadas and alfajores.

The experience was incredible. Franco and his team were great. The group was a little bigger than I was expecting -- maybe 12 people total whereas I was expecting more like 6-8 but it wasn't a problem.

I loved the asado on the patio, and the view from Nicolas' apartment is amazing. It's one of my favorite memories from my time in Buenos Aires! Nicolas is an easy-going, friendly cook, and his apartment is the perfect date night location. Nicolas was warm and welcoming from beginning to end, and that feeling of simple goodness carries into the food. It would be easy to spend a long time chatting on the patio, except that he has so many recommendations of what to do next in the area (ask about PIBÄ).

Avoid the noise, do this amazing intimate dinner! I am so happy and satisfied booking dinner with Gaston. He is so knowledgeable about Mendoza and food. I learned so much that I will use at home. The conversation, food, and wine were superb. Location was walking distance from us, very safe, utterly worth it!
