The ice cream walking tour with Gaby was fabulous -- we went as a family of four (kids are 8 and 11) and she treated us like family friends she was showing her favorite spots to. We learned so much about her neighborhood and her love for her community. Gaby was a welcoming guide to BA. And we ate SO much delicious ice cream and tried flavors we normally wouldn't think too.- leena March 30, 2026
We had such a wonderful time at the empanada cooking class! Our host was absolutely amazing—warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about teaching. She greeted us right outside her apartment with such enthusiasm that we felt welcome from the very start. Even though we had no prior experience, she made us feel completely at ease and guided us through each step with patience and joy. The experience was hands-on, fun, and incredibly informative. We got to enjoy our empanadas the authentic way on her beautiful balcony, which made it all the more special. We truly hope to stay in touch with her. If you’re considering this class, don’t hesitate—book it!- Lee May 15, 2025
I appreciated that Gabby reached out to us, as soon as we booked and we even met over Zoom. She was friendly and warm and willing to help with anything we needed. We had good directions to her home and she was waiting outside to meet us. We enjoyed our walk and visit to the market but we enjoyed the empanada class more. She prepared a snack for us, before we began and she had most of the ingredients prepped and ready for us to assemble. We learned different ways to fold the dough and how to tell what is inside, based on the fold. I think we made 3 or 4 different fillings. They were all tasty but unfortunately, we got talking and the last type was a bit burned. Our 2-3 hour experience turned into 6 hours and we left feeling like we were old friends.- Audrey January 11, 2024
We had so much fun making empanadas with Gabriela! Something that we thought would be so hard turned out to be much easier and customizable! We made more a few days later! Thanks!- Alyssa March 17, 2022
Gabriella was a wonderful host. We had a wonderful experience making the recipes. She was patient and her directions were easy to understand. It was so interesting to take a class from someone in their home country. I would like to see more online classes. We (in Michigan) took the class with our son (in North Carolina) and it was wonderful to be able to interact with them and with Gabriella. It is unlikely we would ever travel to argentina but it was fun to take this class.- MaryCarole February 27, 2022
