Join Fusina, your fun and knowledgeable local host, for a flavorful journey through Amsterdam that ends with a hands-on Dutch pancake session in her canal house apartment overlooking the Amstel river. On your Amsterdam food tour explore the Albert Cuyp open air Market and enjoy tastings at 4-5 stops featuring Dutch favorites like fresh stroopwafels, Dutch herring sashimi with pickles, and artisanal cheeses as you learn about local culture. During your 1.5–2-hour food tour, choose local apples at the market, buy smoked bacon at the local butcher and head to Fusina’s home to make, bake and flip sweet and savory Dutch pancakes - an interactive and delicious finale to your walking tour in Amsterdam.
After the food and market tour, head to Fusina’s charming home for your Dutch pancake-making session. Learn to prepare both sweet and savory styles - traditionally with apples, and with bacon from southern Dutch pigs, cured and smoked by a local butcher. You’ll cook and enjoy the Dutch pancakes (pannenkoeken) in her cozy kitchen, sipping a glass of Dutch white wine served in vintage crystal glasses passed down from her grandmother. A special toast with Fusina marks the end of this joyful and authentic Amsterdam food experience.

I had a lovely time learning how to make Dutch pancakes with Fusina! Fusina welcomed us to her beautiful and full of personality apartment located in the heart of Amsterdam canal districts.
Fusina is extremely friendly and a great storyteller. It was great to hear about Dutch traditions, Dutch food and also Fusina’s personal impressive life story, most recently as a cook book author.
The Dutch Pancakes were delicious and it was very fun to learn how to cook it. Fusina was very patient with my lack of flipping pancakes skills.
All in all a great experience!

Our history was delightful. She took time to share about herself and her passion for organic and sustainable food sources. She introduced us to other Dutch delights as well.- jennifer May 23, 2026
What a wonderful opportunity to be part of a Dutch home meal for a couple hours. The host was kind, confident and thorough in her training. It was also nice to learn about Dutch history and culture from a native. I even went to the store to buy supplies to take home and recreate the appetizer. I would recommend this experience.- cyanthia May 06, 2026

Fusina is not warm and inviting. Quite the opposite. I was more concerned with the cleanliness of her kitchen. No one was reminded to wash their hands before handling the ingredients or food. I did and I was handed a dish towel from the kitchen rack. How many people have used this before me. Where are the paper towels? The pitcher and glasses for water were etched badly due to hard water or were they dirty? Not inviting . I would never bring children to her home. This experience was a waste of money. Go someplace else .- 590gerit April 25, 2026
