I had a lovely time learning how to make Dutch pancakes with Fusina! Fusina welcomed us to her beautiful and full of personality apartment located in the heart of Amsterdam canal districts.
Fusina is extremely friendly and a great storyteller. It was great to hear about Dutch traditions, Dutch food and also Fusina’s personal impressive life story, most recently as a cook book author.
The Dutch Pancakes were delicious and it was very fun to learn how to cook it. Fusina was very patient with my lack of flipping pancakes skills.
All in all a great experience!

Our history was delightful. She took time to share about herself and her passion for organic and sustainable food sources. She introduced us to other Dutch delights as well.- jennifer May 23, 2026
What a wonderful opportunity to be part of a Dutch home meal for a couple hours. The host was kind, confident and thorough in her training. It was also nice to learn about Dutch history and culture from a native. I even went to the store to buy supplies to take home and recreate the appetizer. I would recommend this experience.- cyanthia May 06, 2026

Fusina is not warm and inviting. Quite the opposite. I was more concerned with the cleanliness of her kitchen. No one was reminded to wash their hands before handling the ingredients or food. I did and I was handed a dish towel from the kitchen rack. How many people have used this before me. Where are the paper towels? The pitcher and glasses for water were etched badly due to hard water or were they dirty? Not inviting . I would never bring children to her home. This experience was a waste of money. Go someplace else .- 590gerit April 25, 2026
