Cristian is a Chilean resident who has lived abroad for many years. He started cooking when he was an exchange student in the US. Cristian missed home food so much that he taught himself to cook a few of his favorite dishes using family recipes. He then cooked professionally, worked in the airline business, ran his own restaurant for 10 years and started a catering company. During this time, he also studied to be a certified English-Portuguese interpreter and translator. His love for food and cooking has been lifelong and he is so excited to welcome travelers at his home to share his food and teach them about Chilean culture, ingredients and history.
