A charming Parisian, Françoise discovered her love of cooking as a child in Marseille, where her fisherman grandfather - who also cooked during World War II - would return from sea with the freshest catch and prepare unforgettable meals. Inspired by those early family traditions, Françoise developed a deep appreciation for seasonal, skillful cooking. After 18 years as an art director in advertising, she followed her passion into the culinary world and launched her own catering business. Among all the dishes she prepares, soufflés hold a special place in her heart. She’s captivated by their elegance, precision, and the joy they bring when perfectly risen. Sharing the art of soufflé-making has become one of her favorite ways to connect with others through food. Françoise is also a gifted artist and craftswoman - her home is filled with handmade collage boxes, embossed metals, and antique lace creations. A devoted flea market enthusiast, she visits the Bruxelles market monthly - don’t forget to ask for her favorite local tips!

Discover the secrets behind one of the most iconic dishes in French cuisine in this hands-on soufflé cooking class in Paris. Join Françoise, a passionate home cook and artist, in her charming Parisian home as you learn how to make not one - but two classic French soufflés: a savory Comté cheese soufflé and a sweet soufflé of your choice.
In this immersive cooking experience, Françoise will guide you step-by-step through the techniques that make a perfect soufflé rise - light, airy, and full of flavor. You’ll learn the essential tips and tricks to master both savory and sweet soufflés, so you can recreate them confidently at home.
For the sweet soufflé, your group can choose the flavor in advance (same for everyone): rich Valrhona chocolate or fragrant orange with Grand Marnier. Optional: elevate your experience by pairing your soufflés with a glass of champagne.
After cooking, you’ll sit down to enjoy your soufflés with a fresh seasonal salad, just like the locals do. Whether you're a foodie who’s dined at Parisian institutions like Le Soufflé or Le Récamier or simply curious to try your hand at this elegant dish, this class offers an unforgettable taste of French culinary tradition.
Notes: Françoise typically does not host on Sundays but if you are a group of 5 or more, she may make an exception to host your group.

We’ve taken cooking classes all over the world and this one is one of the best. Francoise is not only an amazing teacher and excellent chef, but to have the class and dinner in her home made it extra special.- Juanita October 15, 2025
The cooking class and lunch we enjoyed in Francoise’s flat was amazing. She is personable welcoming and knowledgeable. We are a family of 4 from the US traveling with two teenagers and we all enjoyed this experience.- Jennifer July 08, 2025

I had a FIT in Paris that started off badly, to no fault of my own, and just went south after that. The one and only thing my clients absolutely raved about was the Traveling Spoon cooking class and how wonderful Francoise was. Even after the trip and we were in the process of getting refunds for the issues they encountered, they continued to mention how much they loved the entire experience with Francoise.- Katy, Travel Advisor May 14, 2025
