Giulia is a friendly Rome-born host with a professional background in migration studies and a lifelong passion for cooking and hosting. She grew up surrounded by traditional Roman cuisine and still treasures a 1928 cookbook that once belonged to her great-aunt. While she has trained in bread baking and pastry arts, her true culinary foundation comes from family traditions, where preparing meals is seen as an expression of love and care. Alongside Roman cooking, their family heritage also features classic Ligurian recipes, as her husband is from Genoa. Giulia also enjoys pottery, and you will have the opportunity to use her handcrafted ceramics during your dining experience. Giulia loves opening her home to people from around the world. Her family’s travels have led to beautiful friendships, immersive cultural experiences, and a love of discovering cities through the eyes of locals. She hopes to offer that same sense of connection to travelers visiting her home, sharing Roman culinary traditions and a glimpse into everyday life in Rome.
