Later she came back to Pondicherry and with Portuguese and Tamil Nadu influence, she enjoyed cooking various fusion dishes, that Anita’s mother, Pushpa, learned and today cooks and shares with people who are interested in trying the cuisine of Pondicherry - which is very unique with it's influence from Vietnamese, Creole, French and Portuguese cuisine.

Booked with a friend. What a great experience from start to finish, from preparing to cooking to eating! Saranya was an absolute star. She was very knowledgeable, experienced and patient. She explained everything we needed to know before we started and all the way through the cooking session. We learnt so much about a different type of cooking and just as much about Pondi lifestyle and culture whilst we ate our meal. I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in cooking. Thank you so much.- uresh January 27, 2026
