What a fun adventure out to Rossaveal to meet Sinead and Cindy and learn about their abalone farm and the local seaweeds on the shoreline. Sinead did an excellent job talking about the only abalone farm in Ireland, and the abalone crawling on her hand was incredibly cute. I had never seen an abalone with its shell lifted. The five taster dishes that they served were fascinating and delicious. My other kid in Germany is so sorry she missed it, but will have to visit when she is in Galway again. Please note that it's at least an hour drive from central Galway up the coast, depending on traffic. Be sure to follow their directions carefully.

We started our experience by meeting some of the goats, learning about their care and the milking process. We even got a chance to feed them a little treat. Then...we were invited inside to taste 4-5 different types of cheese made on the farm as well as a demonstration about how the cheese is made. It was a great experience.

We enjoyed our visit to Stillgarden Distillery. They were able to power through some bumps in the road and provide a fun and informative afternoon. We learned a lot and had a good time.

Erica was wonderful! She made cooking fun. The food was great and the experience was memorable! I would definitely recommend her to anyone traveling to Dublin😊
