Our cooking class with Chef Seanette was hands-down one of the highlights of our trip to Nassau! From the moment we arrived, her warmth and passion for Bahamian cuisine were undeniable. Under her guidance, we prepared an incredible meal featuring fresh local grouper, perfectly seasoned peas and rice, and a rich, flavorful sauce that brought everything together beautifully. Chef Seanette made the experience both educational and fun — she shared local cooking techniques, cultural insights, and even a few family secrets that made the dishes feel truly special. As if the class itself wasn’t amazing enough, on the way back to our hotel we made a quick stop for freshly made conch salad and a cold Kalik Lychee — the perfect refreshment after a satisfying day in the kitchen.
